Greetings,
Love to be there with you. Lived in Cape Town for 7 years(94-2000)and can relate to your comments. You are doing something that I’ve always wanted to do…travel and write about it. I hate you (smile). I’ve been to 49 states and will be driving to Alaska in June..this gives me a great idea. I love Africa, beautiful continent, people, culture and food. Why do you think that everyone else want to go. AA don’t know what they are missing. Keep in touch and stay safe.

Hey. Cool blog, just started reading when you left me a comment. Just a quick question. How did you find my blog? Just interested cause I’ve just started writing and thought only my friends and family were reading. Very cool to see its started filtering out. Now travel bloggers are reading ill have to stop waffling and up my writing game.

Dude,
Thanks for the comment. Even though I periodically check my stats and see all the pretty colors on all the pretty countries where people hit my blog from it's the comments that keep me blogging. Also, saw the roughguides scholarship on your blog and applied.

Hi Brrriiiaannn,
I'm so jealous of your travels around the world. My husband and I have though about it but did not have the guts to do it. Kudos to you! Let me know if you're planning a trip to the Phils. Keep it touch!

Great blog, and in a way, we are soul mates. I also want to travel the world cheaply and have been able to do so. In my case I travel by offering my services to a country who will then hire me to come and teach/consult while paying my way. My wife and I have been able to travel 14 separate times–Australia to Zimbabwe, never once reaching into my wallet and never once giving up my day job. If you are a skilled professional and have a marketable skill you can do the same thing. Check out my travel blog: otherguysdime.wordpress.com to learn how.
