I’ll check in with everyone after I get to Siem Reap, Cambodia.
12 hour bus ride. I’ll see how this goes. I’ve heard horror stories about bus rides. I could have flown into Siem Reap for about $350 and and a one hour flight.
But easy is never interesting, is it?
So I’ll take the bus and spend about 1200 baht ($34US) on this trip.

Wow! Be safe. Have you contacted the Amerian Embassy in each country to let them know you are there?
I’m safe in Cambodia and I have not contacted the embassies (sp?) of the countries I’ve been in.
I was there with companions from Singapore and they recommended simply using mosquito repellant and eschewing the malaria pills. So I did. A month later, I’m ok. So the mosquito with my name on it never actually bit me, I guess.
