I read about this deal from Intrepid Travel
I mentioned Intrepid before as a way to get your feet wet with international travel without going solo.
Now they are offering 15% off some of their packages if you can provide proof that you’ve been laid off from your job.

Responsible in what way? I trust that if someone is traveling after being laid off that they have some money saved and can do it. In other words, if you or a loved one is not going to eat or will lose their home, then you should not travel. Otherwise, why not?
I wish I had done this back when I was laid off not long after starting my first “out of college” job. I was young and still living with my parents and had no major bills other than student loans… Now, given the right opportunity and situation, I’d go for it in a heartbeat…
