Happy Birthday in Macau

by brian on December 7, 2008

Saturday afternoon I left Hong Kong by ferry to go to Macau for the weekend. With me is Annie, who is celebrating her birthday on Sunday, and her friends. We all were introduced by Debbie, my fellow Cornell alum, who has seemingly sucked me into the Hong Kong ex-pat scene.

Annie had the day all planned so we had a few hours to kill before dinner. We went to the Macau Fisherman’s Wharf, which has a small amusement park and many restaurants. We had a late lunch and then hit the bumper cars.

Happy Birthday in MacauAnnie picked dinner at Cecconi’s Italian, inside the Venetian. Excellent dinner and excellent company. Here we are letting the food settle after chowing down.
