Bon chance! Remember all the French that Patti Labelle taught you, but use it wisely.
Go see the catacombs! It is really cheap and is right off the metro line! If you have an old student ID or are under 26 its under 4 euro and is the best walk of the city you can find (well, its underground and surrounded by bones)

Not much need to use French here. English is enough in most cases.
