Travelling Alone

Nice resource for those of us adventurous enough to step into the world by ourselves. Can’t go everywhere with a tour group can you? Many won’t step out on their own because of the unknown. I did plenty of group tours in the last 2-3 years before my big round the world trip. I even lead a group trip to Costa Rica last year. After that I knew I was ready. The biggest thing you learn with experience: It’s not that difficult and you can get along anywhere.

NYC On The Cheap

Whenever I see a post about cheap travel and eats in a big city I post it. If you have any resources about major metropolitan cities, please send to me and I’ll post. I know a few of you are coming to New York this summer, contact me and we’ll get together.

With Flight 447 this past week, I thought this article was timely. Panic is a obvious reaction, but it does not have to completely paralyze you.

A Day In The Cloud

Virgin America and Google are teaming up for a scavenger hunt on their planes and on the ground. For those of you flying Virgin Atlantic on June 24th, there will be free WiFi on all flights. I like Sir Richard Branson and I like Google, so I’m spreading the world. Any of you have flown Virgin Atlantic? Tell us you experience in the comments below.
