Nice resource for those of us adventurous enough to step into the world by ourselves. Can’t go everywhere with a tour group can you? Many won’t step out on their own because of the unknown. I did plenty of group tours in the last 2-3 years before my big round the world trip. I even lead a group trip to Costa Rica last year. After that I knew I was ready. The biggest thing you learn with experience: It’s not that difficult and you can get along anywhere.

Solo travel is the best way to see a city or country. You can move at your own speed and go when you want to go. There are precautions and tips solo travelers can take and this article covers much of them. Let people know where you are, and don’t take drinks from strangers in bars.
