I’m down in Bangkok! Flight from Tokyo was a little bumpy but nothing major. Actually I slept most of the way so I didn’t even notice.

I’m staying at the Lub D Hostel on Decho Road, off of Silom Road in Bangkok. I can consider myself an expert on hostels since I’ve been in 3 of them in the last three weeks and I have to say this might be one of the best ones EVER. It looks like a boutique hotel you might find in New York. Very hip, very stylish. The building is new but they definitely thought of the hostel traveler when they had this is mind.

And the cost per night? $15.00US! That’s it.

I’ll spend the next few days wandering the city and planning to go to Chiang Mai. Also I need to fit in Cambodia and somehow Hong Kong. So many places, not enough hours in the day…
